Killing her softly

She sat unplumbed in her own
on moon staring from the window
eyes with cease on torn apart tempest
shivered at her charisma
the city laid bare in front of her
glistened with the filth of misery
naked and traumatized crusades
why she bore the burdens of guilt bags?
looked for a shoulder to cry on
aloud enough to bang
the closed doors of conscience
lost in the hustle bustle of city
swarmed with the beasts of flesh
was looked at and laughed at
yet living for the sake of it
a tear poured occasionally
enough to tell they care
left with numbered days
she could count on her fingers
she wished to live a few more though
one of those many nights
she was trampled and trashed
took away that last hope
that drove her to the filths of city
she would no longer see
serene breeze ,the lush green guards,
flawless compassion inviting her back
with open arms still waiting for her
the valley she left for the filths of city
she knew she was not the first
nor the last to embrace
the death crawling like the shadows in woods
gradual , heavy and dirty
no more reason no more motive
she beaconed termites of HIV positive.

'the death crawling like the shadows in woods'

How about substituting 'crawling' with 'trailing'?

Nice poem, as ever!
