turn back once more

she kept walking not knowing
she was chased all along
a lonesome tread
screams in her head
she heard none other voice
as if a sweeping slumber
gripped her senses
night put on her robe of youth
gradually getting darker
the maddening winds had premonition
she as usual ignored
but why she suddenly stopped
and wanted to turn back
some whisper or her illusion
what was it that let her stop
and look back
nothing.....
no voice ,no sight just a void
a void like her life
she resumed her ordeal
her life running like a flashback
in front of her eyes
and now she screams
shivering the silence of the woods
she screams at her life
at her love at her dreams
at her dilemmas and struggles
shredding through the dying crescent
across the sky
she takes out a knife
and rip her veins open
and waited for her death
she turned back again
never knowing why
a loud laughter in the air
laughing at her for she did
what she was made to do
and she wakes from her intoxication
knowing the bleeding hand was no dream
she died with every tick of that bloody night
and this time she could never turn back
never knowing that laughter
and the intoxication
never knowing she was loved and wanted
for there were eyes waiting for her return
in her home all so alone
and wished she would turn back
for once to come back home....
